Highly visitable, open late

Welcome to the world’s third-most-visitable city (according to Rough Guide). People come here because it’s Chinese New Year in a huge Chinese community. Because of the Grand National. Because it’s matchday. Because the clubs close at 7am. Or just because they can. You can, too.

Liverpool Landmarks

The vibrant heart of Liverpool’s historic waterfront, the Albert Dock’s the place to play, to see, to eat, drink and stay. Blending old and new, it’s contemporary, yet cultured; fun, and friendly.

Fans of The Beatles should also head to Albert Dock which is the starting point for the Magical Mystery Tour, a bus trip taking in various Beatles landmarks including Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields.

Football is one of the city’s greatest passions. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to the club.

When we’re not home to the most famous race in the world in April, The Crabbie’s Grand National, Aintree Racecourse plays hosts to an additional 5 race days, making every race day at Aintree a special one.
